Dog Walking
Posted on Friday, December 25, 2009 @ 17:37:04 CST by admin

Gripe For All To Read wvcaoffice writes "Every now and then residents have to be reminded of the way they walk their dogs. In accordance with Pinellas County Code Enforcement, all owners of dogs that are being walked outdoors on streets, in parks, on trails etc. must be leashed. If your dog(s) are not on leads, you are not in compliance. You can be and will be issued a summons if someone reports you.

Recently young children have been seen walking a very aggressive unleashed dog. Children should not be given the responsibility of dog walking unless they are able to control the animal. Never should your dog(s) be allowed to run outside unattended, roaming the community. Animal control will be called and the animals will be taken to a shelter. If you love your animal, it should not be a problem to do the right thing! Please show some consideration for your neighbors and their pets, so that they can enjoy their walks around the community. Thank you "
